Stockholding – Reducing Your Costs.

More and more customers are taking advantage of MCM Profiles ability to hold their own designed sections in stock. We will deliver your sections in the quantities you require when you require them.

Two of the most common processes for enhancing the appearance of aluminium or enhancing its corrosion resistance are Anodising and Powder Coating.

Aluminium, in an untreated form produces a protective oxide coating on exposure to the atmosphere. This oxide is inherently protective, but very thin and can be thickened by the anodising process.

Attributes of anodising are :

● Even matt or semi matt appearance

● Corrosion  Prevention

● Dirt repellent surface for high hygiene

● Smooth        Surface

● Electric Insulating Surface

● Good basis for adherence of glue and paint

Powder Coating

Powder coating is the application by electrostatic spray of a thermasetting powder  which, when cured, flows to form an attractive durable finish. Colours can be chosen from the extensive RAL or BS colour ranges in matt, satin or high gloss or can be matched to any customer specification in flat, metallic or textured finishes. :
